YOUTH VOTE
School election and
education program for all students in grades K-12.
The Youth Vote program is for
elementary, middle, and high school students.
These students participate in several types of school
elections every year including, Sunshine State Young
Reader Elections, student council elections, homecoming
elections, prom elections, and senior class elections.
During these elections, the Walton County Elections
office creates electronic ballots, discusses voting history
and rights, and conducts the election using the touch
screen voting equipment at no cost. These elections occur
every school year and are a lot of fun for everyone
involved. For more information, see our
school elections page.
If you are from a school and would
like to have us come to your location for an election,
presentation, or demonstration, or
if your school needs resources
to conduct an election,
please contact Ryan Messer by
phone at 850-892-8112 or by
email at
mesryan@co.walton.fl.us as soon as possible.
