ELECTION DAY VOTING
If you choose to cast your ballot on Election Day, you must go to your precinct’s polling place to do so. Locate your polling place by using the Precinct Locator.
A current identification that includes your photo and signature must be shown to vote at a polling place. If you do not have the required identification, you will be provided with a Provisional Ballot. If the signature on record at the Supervisor of Elections office matches that on the Provisional Ballot Certificate, the canvassing board will accept the ballot.
Ballots may be cast at a polling site using either the county’s optical scan or touch screen voting equipment. Do not hesitate to ask if you have questions on procedures for casting your ballot or using the voting equipment. Sample ballots are available for review prior to casting your ballot.
If you need assistance to vote, notify the poll worker. You may bring someone with you who can help you or you can request that two poll workers provide you with assistance.
If you have changed your residence address, notify the poll worker. They will assist you with completing the necessary paperwork to update your record or in determining if you are at the correct polling place.
If you can not make to the polls on Election Day, you may vote by
absentee ballot or early vote at one of our early voting locations.
