1. Gov. Crist appointed LeMieux to finish the term after Martinez retired (term ends 2011).
2. At the election next following a reapportionment, some senators shall be elected for terms of two years when necessary to maintain staggered terms. (Art III, ยง 15(a), Fla. Const.)
3. A special municipal election was held on April 14, 2009 to fill the City Marshal seat for the remainder of the term (term ends 2011).
4. Robert Hudson was appointed to South Walton Mosquito Control District Seat 3 to finish the term (term ends 2011). 
5. Judge Edward T. Barfield will retire December 31, 2009.  Gov. Crist will appoint a replacement.
6. Gov. Crist appointed these judges to fill vacancies. (Terms end 2011)
7. A special municipal election is scheduled for April 13, 2010 to fill the City Clerk seat for the remainder of the term (term ends 2011).
